CALENDAR OF EVENTS
Tis the Season – Concert on Monday, December 15th at 7 p.m. This concert will include the band, orchestra and choirs. Please plan to stay for the whole evening. Your student will need to be at TJ by 6:00 p.m.
The Chamber Ensemble will be participating in the choral festival at Columbia Basin College in April, 2015. There is some very important information about the trip posted on the Chamber Ensemble page. Please take a moment to read it at your earliest convenience. Drivers/chaperones will be needed!
RPM stands for Raider Parent Movement. Their purpose is to build an effective partnership with Thomas Jefferson parents, guardians, relatives, staff members, students, and alumni to advance the well being of the school and the community it serves. Each year, RPM hosts many events including a large auction for the benefit of clubs, activities, classes, and programs - including the choirs, band, orchestra and musical theatre programs.
Each year, RPM has a dinner/auction to raise funds for the various groups at TJ. Please begin thinking about items/services you might be willing to donate to help raise funds for the Choral Department - the choirs and musical theater. Each group participates in the Auction by acquiring items to be auctioned off in both the Silent and Live Auctions. This is a great fundraiser as we receive 70% of our auction proceeds, so the more items we procure (and the more unique they are) the more money the Choir/Musical Theater Group earns.

SPECIAL NOTE FROM JANE WILSON
My name is Jane Wilson and I am your Chamber Parent for this school year. The following is to help keep you informed of your student's choir activities and ask for your help.
Concert Concessions. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue being the "Concessions Lady". If there is anyone who would like to step into this position, let me know.
April 16-18, 2015 - Columbia Basin College Trip. For this trip we will need transportation for 30 students. More details can be found on the Chamber Ensemble page. If you can drive, please contact me ASAP! Drivers will need to acquire paperwork from the office for a WSP background check and fill out insurance and volunteer forms. The WSP check can take up to a week to clear. (If you have already completed and submitted the paperwork, you do not need to do it again.)
