What is it? RPM stands for Raider Parent Movement. Their purpose is to build an effective partnership with Thomas Jefferson parents, guardians, relatives, staff members, students, and alumni to advance the well being of the school and the community it serves. RPM hosts many events every year including a large auction for the benefit of clubs, activities, classes, and programs - including the choirs, band, orchestra and musical theatre programs.

The RPM dinner/auction will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Emerald Downs. Please consider donating items/services to help raise funds for the Choral Department - the choirs and musical theater. Each group participates in the Auction by acquiring items to be auctioned off in both the Silent and Live Auctions. This is a great fundraiser as we receive 70% of our auction proceeds, so the more items we procure (and the more unique they are) the more money the Choir/Musical Theater Group earns.

In prior years, items that were auctioned for 80% or more above their value were:

  • Wine Baskets
  • Tickets to Sounder or Seahawk Games
  • Video Games
  • Swords (or something that is very collectable)
  • Gift Baskets for an Evening out (movie tickets, dinner certficate, popcorn, etc.)
  • Chocolate Baskets
  • Almost any kind of Gift basket. We can come up with some themes, and if lots of people donate a couple of things for a basket(s) we can make some great ones!
  • Admission tickets to Theaters (Seattle Rep, Seattle Musical Theater, Paramount, etc.)
  • Meat Basket
  • Laser Quest games
  • Services - Car Detailing, Lawn mower service, Yard clean up, Moving services, Bartending Services
  • Host an Event: Do you have a nice boat that you'd be willing to host a Boat trip on Lake Washington? Do you know someone that does? Are you a chef, or know one, who be willing to spend an evening of teaching how to cook a meal? Host a Pool Party!
  • Big money makers are Restaurant or Store gift certificates!
  • Please give some thought as to how you might be able to help.

    Hello Everyone!

My name is Jane Wilson and, in addition to being your Chamber Parent for this school year, I am the volunteer coordinator for "Anything Goes". The following is to help keep you informed of your student's choir activities and ask for your help.

I will be looking for volunteers for the show - ticket sellers, ushers, people to sell concessions, and people to help with the meal we will be providing for the kids and staff between the two performances on Saturday, May 9th. If you can help and haven't already, please contact me.

Concert Concessions. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue being the "Concessions Lady". If there is anyone who would like to step into this position, let me know.

My contact information is on the contact page.
