Performance dates:

  • May 1, 2, 3, 9 and 10 evenings at 7:30
  • May 4, 10 and 11 matinees at 2:00
  • Ticket prices:

  • $11 general admission
  • $9 seniors (age 55 and older) We will also offer $9 tickets to students with ID.
  • RESERVED SEATS are available for groups of 2 or more at $16 per seat. These seats MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE IN ORDER TO RESERVE THEM. NOTE: general admission tickets are NOT reserved seating.

    Tickets can be purchased from cast members; by writing to Pippinattj@comcast.net; by contacting Julie Printz in the Finance Office during regular school hours; or at the door. All pre-ordered tickets are to be picked up at “Will Call” the day/evening of the performance.

    Tickets can be purchased by credit card by calling the school finance office (253-945-5625) during regular school hours. Julie Printz will take the order over the phone. NO CREDIT CARD ORDERS AT THE DOOR!


    The Chamber Ensemble will be participating in the Large Group Ensemble Contest at Puyallup High School the morning of April 30. Further information will be available soon.

    HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT MUSIC EDUCATION - parents hold ALL the power in this process ...

    The TJ Music Department offers many different types of music classes for all ability levels. We currently offer Concert Choir, Chamber Ensemble, Musical Theatre, Drama, and piano and guitar classes, Orchestra, Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Drum Line, and IB Music. The Vocal Jazz Ensemble is now an after-school club.

    The TJ Music Department consistently receives the highest awards possible in our performance areas. The Musical Theater programs wins awards every year for their productions; the choirs, bands and orchestra constantly receive superior ratings at contests; and all three groups always have performers finishing in the top three in our regional solo/ensemble contests. Our music department focuses on collaboration between ensembles and between teachers. We are one of the only schools in the region with a dedicated teacher for each ensemble. The three music teachers work together to create a cohesive and enriching music department for anyone interested in music. We teach our students to love music and to become life-long learners. We hope you take advantage of the largest music program in the district by having your student join us in the TJ Music Department.

    WMEA (Washington Music Education Association) now offers a Family Membership. This membership, which costs only $10 per year, will allow families to show their support for music education by increating the representation for WMEA when it advocates at all levels.     TJ RPM

    RPM stands for Raider Parent Movement. Their purpose is to build an effective partnership with Thomas Jefferson parents, guardians, relatives, staff members, students, and alumni to advance the well being of the school and the community it serves. Each year, RPM hosts many events including a large auction for the benefit of clubs, activities, classes, and programs - including the choirs, band, orchestra and musical theatre programs.
